I love to do the same, but in this hectic modern life don't always have the time to bake. Dipped pretzels are perfect for such occasions. Easy to make and package, they last for weeks and no-one has turned them down yet!
1-- 14 oz pkg your choice pretzels
Pretzels come in fun shapes and all sizes. I prefer small ones that I can mix in a bowl with the melted almond bark instead of hand dipping each large pretzel.
1 package of almond bark (we prefer the white for pretzels)
Option: You can sprinkle colored sugar or candy sprinkles as soon as you spread them on the wax paper. You can also add things like M&Ms that won't melt.
Simply take half of an almond bark package, break apart the cubes and microwave in a large bowl for 1 minute. In my microwave I add 30 more seconds but carefully test the time needed on yours. The almond bark should be easily stirred with a spoon. Pour the package of pretzels into the melted bark and stir until evenly coated. *I do not pour in the bottom crushed and super salty bits of the pretzel bag.
Spread the coated pretzels on wax paper with a spoon. Once they are dry you can package them...IF there are any left from the adorable "vultures" hovering over the drying pretzels.
|This is my favorite yarn for packaging. It comes in several different colors.|
Gift from the hands and heart are always appreciated no matter how small:)
