My college daughter had one dessert request while she was home for Christmas...Reese Bars!
I didn't get it done for Christmas because we were on the move to see the twins:) Last night for our New year treat I made these decadent, delicious, and deadly peanut butter chocolate bars...yum!
Never mind that it is committing calorie suicide with every sinful bite, or that an entire week of fat gram allotment is also contained in that same bite! Don't worry...It's a new year with a chance for resolutions concerning such inappropriate indulgences...hahahah!

2 sticks of butter (you can cut out 1 half of 1 stick)
1 3/4 cup crushed graham crackers (easy in a blender)
1 cup peanut butter (I prefer creamy)
Mix well and spread in a 9x13 pan (no need to grease pan..duh!)
2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips in microwave
(mine takes 1 min & 20 seconds)
Spread over the peanut butter layer
Chill in fridge to set the bars, no need to continue refrigeration unless you prefer them cold.
