Sweet Burrito, a Utah franchise!

I have had many, many jobs none of which included working at a restaurant until this week. I am not sure that working without a paycheck qualifies as job:) Our oldest son Keith became a restauranteur in Utah this week. The decor is modern with a Luchador theme... a cool and quirky new franchise.

I love the stamped cement counter tops, turquoise trim on the booth seats, wood walls, and silly hats...sorry son they are silly!

Michael, me, and son Aaron
This is one of those occasions when I shake my head at the funny twists and turns of life. Who could have predicted this? Although Keith did occasionally make pancakes in the senior parking lot at high school with best friend Brian:)
Sweeto Burrito is basically gourmet goodness wrapped in a tortilla, not Tex Mex!
Check out his menu...
When the doors opened on a Monday morning the lines never stopped for 11 1/2 hours. We only worked a few of the hours each day killing steak, cleaning tables, organizing the kitchen, re-stocking straws and plastic forks, getting orders together...hard work! I have a new respect for restaurant workers

History in the making:)

If you are ever in Orem,Utah head on over the the restaurant, be sure and
tell Keith that the momma and Nellie's Cottage sent you by:)
