My "One event/One Design" plan is a solution I created when faced with 2 weddings in 4 months! It is simple, plan a design, build your pages, mat your photos (or not), add photos, gather or make and then add embellishments, and viola...you have an album very quickly. Brittany was able to scrapbook 3 different events in a couple of days. As I am typing she is headed to the hospital to be induced with her 3rd little girl! She really wanted to get birth and blessing pages done for Annabelle and Scarlett and so she did using this simple album strategy.
Simple scrapbooking isn't our only style, I really love the super embellished collage style however , I have found for holidays, vacations, photo shoots, and events the "One Event/One Design" approach serves me well.
This album is simple and elegant using vintage ribbon, pearls, Prima flowers, Storybook cricut cartridge letters, and an Anna Griffin fancy flourish die-cut in white.
|Son Aaron & wife Janene, Nannie & Grampa Earl, and my brother Mark's family joined us for this special day.|
|A collage page at the end is great for random family photos after the event.|
p.s. Brittany plans to have all of her baby blessings in one album (each one will be a different design)
